The technical inside sales specialist position develops, maintains, and interacts with a wide range of new and existing customers in the industrial woodworking market to increase sales of products and/or services. This interaction takes place primarily over the phone or email and may include regional trade show and periodic customer visits. Uses sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to achieve increased sales and profitability. This is a high-visibility, entry-level position with growth potential in outside sales, application engineering or project management.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with regional sales management to develop customs in strategic geographical area(s).
Contact existing and former customers as well as new prospects via phone and email to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
Research and contact prospects in the targeted strategic area(s).
Create quotes for standard and custom tooling based on customer requirements.
Maintain and grow these accounts through frequent phone contact.

Spanish or German language skills desired but not required.

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is desired but not required. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
At least two years of experience in technical sales, service or support functions.
Knowledge of industrial woodworking processes, machinery and tooling preferred, but not required.
