Machine manufacturer SCM has chosen Leitz as the OEM supplier for its panel-sizing saws. In the future, all lines of the Gabbiani series will be equipped with circular sawblades from the world market leader from Oberkochen. For processors of MDF, chipboard, wood derived material or solid wood this means even more quality, flexibility and sustainability in their daily work.

About a year ago SCM started a comparison programme to find a suitable tool partner for the initial equipment of panel-sizing saws. The objective: A manufacturer who not only convinces with outstanding products, but also meets the high demands of SCM customers in terms of availability and reliability. The order was given to Leitz with its circular sawblades, which showed excellent results in numerous material and machining test series. In the opinion of the SCM managers, the Leitz Group's worldwide sales and service network is a perfect match for the Italian machine manufacturer, which is also represented worldwide. Thanks to the new cooperation, SCM customers will not only benefit from the advantages of Leitz products in future. They will also be able to restore worn tools to their original state in the shortest possible time at one of the numerous Leitz service locations - and all this in manufacturer quality.

Leitz is very pleased about the decision at SCM and sees the even closer cooperation in the future as the perfect basis for a user-oriented further development of tools and machines.
