Innovative ideas
For users, machine builders, power tool manufacturers and material developers
Flexible production in small batch sizes requires short set-up times and high processing speeds. The ability to process an increasing variety of materials in high quality with long tool life requires innovative tooling and machining concepts. Low cutting forces, reduced noise levels and good chip collection help to save energy and protect the environment.
Leitz supports its customers in a wide variety of industries with individual solutions for machining new materials, increasing tool life, reducing set-up times, minimizing cutting forces, conserving resources or simply making machining more efficient.

Optimized tool for planing
TurboPlan PLUS
Optimized tool for planing
The TurboPlan PLUS hydro planerhead from Leitz fully harnesses the potential of high-performance machines. The higher number of teeth enables the maximum feed rate to be used while keeping the best planing quality – and thus a significant increase in productivity. Knives with Marathon high-performance coating extends the tool life many times over. Replacing the knives is also quick and safe: The simultaneous hydro knife clamping system saves valuable time during set-up.
